About the Role

The Senior Manager, Employer Brand Marketing will play an important role within the Gap Inc. Global communications team to craft and execute strategic campaigns that inspire the way employees, prospective employees, business partners and customers think about Gap Inc. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to partner with the Talent Acquisition, ESG, and Equality & Belonging teams and our purpose-led brands to ideate on storytelling opportunities, partnerships, events and data-driven marketing campaigns that highlight our company values and culture, engagement programs, and future of work plans to attract and engage top talent.

The successful candidate is a strategic thinker and curious storyteller who is passionate and experienced in building brand and company culture, collaborates effectively within matrixed teams, and shapes compelling content across multiple formats and channels. As part of a high-performing team, the successful candidate will have a bias for action, be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and bring a solid understanding of how company culture drives engagement and attracts best-in-class talent.

This is an exciting and dynamic role that touches so many different function areas and leaders across our business. As such, you'll need to be strategic, hands-on and an expert communicator able to manage priorities across stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Amplify our Employer Brand and lead the overall recruitment experience across global business needs leading strategy, experience design, implementation and measurement
  • Become an expert in our culture to understand what makes us special and our growth goals in order to create moments that matter across all aspects of the candidate and employee lifecycle to attract top talent, increase retention, and generate future growth
  • Understand our current talent landscape and keep abreast of trend and changes to identify partners, events and opportunities for Gap Inc. and its brands to have a presence to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Collaborate, influence, and build relationships with leadership and business partners, serving as a trusted strategic advisor able to align strategies with business needs
  • Lead monthly employer brand calls and manage all stakeholders, including project deliverables, deadlines, campaign calendars, and campaign execution
  • Lead development of content strategy, messaging and channel innovation to build strong stories that differentiate Gap Inc. and create meaningful connections with target audiences
  • Translate research into insights that strengthen overall strategic plans and campaign effectiveness
  • Build experiences and campaigns to strengthen Gap Inc.'s brand perception and differentiate us from other employers
  • Experience creating media plans and activations to reach target segments


Who You Are

  • 7-10 years of professional work experience in marketing and/or communications with experience developing and executing employer brand campaigns across a global audience to attract and retain the best talent
  • A proven people leader, able to not only manage a team of 3-5 employees but also to build relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to key business partners
  • Creative problem solver able to build and adapt strategies, keen brand intuition, strong storytelling skills and exceptional written communication skills
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional projects, including managing multiple stakeholders across different departments and functions
  • Passionately customer curious, with proven experience as a strategic thinking who can build communications and marketing campaigns including key messaging plans, paid media executions, website and owned content management, social media calendars, events and partnerships
  • Experience managing budgets and understanding of how to measure ROI for employer brand
