As Senior Product Manager in the Zalando Plus team, you will be working across the organization as part of a high-performing team that is actively driving Zalando towards its mission to deepen customer relationships.

  • Use a highly-analytical customer-centric mindset to build a compelling vision of the future. Work backwards from this vision to construct a narrative for how we'll solve customer problems and realize business opportunities that matter at Zalando's scale
  • Think big and act fast to work through the complexity of building impactful experiences for millions of customers within a large, ambitious organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates and become a trusted sparring partner to the leads of those teams
  • Focus on international scalable expansion, but always put yourself in the local customer's shoes.
  • Be a mentor to other colleagues by showcasing deep expertise in Product Management methods and tools. Level up Product Management at Zalando by actively contributing to important discussions and initiatives within the Product Management job family

  • Demonstrated expertise in complex problem solving and ownership of impactful product initiatives through all phases of discovery, definition, design, and delivery. You look for step-changes rather than safe optimizations and are comfortable tackling problems that impact millions of customers
  • You have a strong sense for macro consumer trends within the fashion industry and can translate that to near-term product strategy. Ideally, you have worked in a business with a subscription model and understand the dynamics of recurring revenue. Bonus: You have experience with a fashion marketplace
  • You know the difference between evidence and proof, qualitative and quantitative data, and measuring customer success vs. measuring because you can. You can tell stories with data and demonstrate impact through clear KPIs
  • You are able to work across multiple disciplines, functions and teams (e.g. product, tech, operations, logistics, business, legal and marketing).
  • You are an incredibly capable writer and verbal communicator. You know the right level of detail needed to communicate with a range of audiences.
  • You have multiple years of experience in Product Management and have beliefs and principles informed by both success and failure
  • You know that the success of whatever you are working on relies on the energy and attitude you bring to it and have the stamina to sustain that energy over many months and unexpected challenges
