The Team
The Tommy Hilfiger Licensing division is responsible for extending the reach of the brand into new product territories; finding new ways to connect with our consumers while driving revenue growth and brand strategy with our licensed partners.

Based in the Amsterdam European HQ, this highly networked team works to ensure the seamless integration of our licensees into brand Product, Marketing, and Distribution strategies.

The Position
The Licensing Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of driving the Tommy Hilfiger Licensing business in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

General/Daily Management:
  • Facilitate communication between Tommy Hilfiger and licensees
  • Manage relationships with HQ internal partners/departments
  • Act as brand ambassador
  • Be the central day to day point of contact for TH Licensed products

Business Analysis/Planning & Reporting:
  • Prepare annual business plan and strategy in line with global objectives
  • Thoroughly understand license agreements and monitor contractual obligations
  • Review and analyze monthly wholesale re-estimate reports
  • Retail selling - request, analyze and provide recap on a weekly basis

Product Development:
  • Ensure product strategies are consistent with Divisional and Corporate objectives, while ensuring that business needs are met.
  • Attend key product development meetings and offer suggestions and ideas as required
  • Be the link between the licensees and Creative/Design Directors
  • Coordinate showroom presentations of seasonal collections to necessary parties internally
  • Coordinate with internal Retail & Ecom teams and licensees on product need specifically for their stores

Marketing/Advertising:
  • Partner with Marketing to initiate and support licensee advertising/marketing needs
  • Partner with Marketing to insure licensee inclusion and exposure in brand campaigns and activations
  • Work with markets and local PVH offices to develop synergies in marketing related activities with in house lines (site takeovers, promotions in dept stores, etc.)

Distribution:
  • Monitor distribution to ensure licensed products are sold to accounts that are approved and consistent with brand direction and work to improve where necessary existing distribution and penetration
  • Partner with PVH local offices to discuss opportunities in new territories

Retail:
  • Visit stores regularly to stay in touch with retail environment with regards to in-store presentation, competition, pricing, packaging, product, promotion and trends
  • Support and develop sales of licensed products in O&O, Ecom and franchised TH stores

The role reports to the Director of Global Product Licensing for Tommy Hilfiger.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years' experience in Licensing, Sales, Marketing or related field within a leading fashion market player
  • Proven track record in maximizing business opportunities and increasing sales
  • Proven relationships with key global accounts and license partners
  • Knowledge of retail environment and competitive landscape of the European market
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills
  • Used to team work
  • Analytical thinker with ability to multi-task and react quickly
  • Self-motivated, excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Passion for product, a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
