Title: Manager, Global Inventory Planning

Primary Purpose: The Manager, Global Inventory Planning role will have the overall responsibility for managing the global roll-up of financial inventory plans and reporting on the key metrics as part of brand level integrated business planning activities. This role will report to the Director, Global Inventory Planning and will be based in New York, NY.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Global Inventory Planning to analyze month-end results, support corporate reporting requirements and managing the monthly and quarterly forecasts in tandem with in-depth product lifecycle management.

- Management of forecasting and reconciliation process for financial components of inventory such as capitalized / manufacturing variances, reserves, analyze variances vs. plan / LY and report consolidated financial results
- Partner with finance teams, incorporating financial sales, cogs and reserves into monthly forecast
- Conduct monthly and cumulative variance analysis; incorporate actual results into financial forecast
- Summarize and strategize Excess / Aged / Authorized inventory plans with headlines around departments and styles with the greatest risk globally; Manage product end of life strategies
- Oversee product lifecycle initiatives with productivity / profitability analysis that support global Reserves and audit process
- Compile backup documentation and detailed bridges to help influence decision making and inform leadership of underlying trends
- Reporting and support of inventory KPI's such as Turns and W.O.H.
- Drive initiatives to streamline processes, maintain and improve upon existing reporting
- Support Demand & Inventory Review, Supply Review, and Integrated Reconciliation IBP governance meeting

The accomplished individual will possess...

- A Bachelor's Degree, required, Business, Finance or related concentrated preferred
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, experience in Financial / Retail Planning strongly preferred
- P&L / BS forecasting experience, with an emphasis on building driver-based forecasts
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate across multiple levels of the business
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining inventory planning policies and processes
- Understanding of inventory planning and management techniques in a multi-FC network
- Leadership experience in approving changes to inventory planning parameters
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Experience with MicroStrategy, SAP, JDA a plus
