Key Responsibilities: 

The role of the Senior Product Developer is to oversee the full development of Mens Bags and Small leather goods across the accessories line.

They will report into the Product Development Director.

The Senior Product Developer will be responsible for:

  • Managing the handover of SRF’s and Technical information to Buying offices and direct vendors
  • Responsible for organizing and monitoring all sampling across 1st proto to final pre-production samples
  • Updating and managing the PLM data system -  Managing the BOM creations, ensuring all information is correct and regularly updated across styles/vendor requests and SAP interface
  • Create, Maintain and Upload all comments per proto stage into PLM  
  • Own all costing analysis within across each style/group, ensuring target fob vs. actual is worked on and achieved
  • Work closely with the R&D Manager to request/enquire Materials selected for price and suitability per season
  • Work closely with Merchandising to follow through assortment and requests from markets and alignment with key milestones for PLM input
  • Approving lap dips and maintaining seasonal material/trim approvals
  • Maintain and owning the Hardware library for men’s accessories
  • Calendar and Critical Path - managing the timelines with his/her peers on the Seasonal Calendar deadlines set by the division and work closely on the critical path per season to ensure each deadline is met
  • Organise and set up meetings when needed with his/her peers for re caps and developments
  • Work closely on a daily basis with peers from the Design and Merchandise team with the best open and collaborative attitude

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Education: Graduate preferably with a higher education background in Fashion industry and/or will have at least 5-6 years’ experience within a fashion or accessories development environment
  • Excellent knowledge & computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word. 
  • Able to work within PLM system- preferable background working in similar Soft wear programme
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan according to priority and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High level of communication skills
  • Appreciation of the Creative process
  • Flexible attitude and strong work ethic
  • Good understanding of Calvin Klein DNA and brand awareness
  • Ability to liaise with and build good internal and external working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English a must
