Job Title: Ecommerce Assistant
Responsible to: Head of Ecommerce Operations
Overview
The Cefinn ecommerce team is expanding and we are looking for a bright and personable individual to help run the day-to-day functioning of the website. The Ecommerce Assistant will be a crucial part of a small team and a dynamic, fast-growing company based in West London. The right candidate will develop with the role, enjoying exposure to different areas of the fashion industry and all the various functions of a growing online brand with opportunity to contribute directly to its success.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Ecommerce Manager in researching, preparing, and implementing marketing and development projects and campaigns including QA and testing
- Assist in the planning, briefing, and scheduling of all email and SMS campaigns
- Managing the preparation and upload of new products
- Managing the preparation and upload of assets and content to the website - preparing the website for all relevant marketing campaigns
- Weekly merchandising of the website and creation of relevant edits – informed by reporting on product sales, product page performance and returns
- Monitor the website’s performance, highlighting issues but also opportunities for improvements
- Communicating with warehouse manager and product team regarding stock and deliveries
- Working with customer service to understand the Cefinn customer so to encourage repeat purchases and to look for customer retention opportunities
- Ensure SEO guidelines are followed with all content uploads plus assist in the research and development of the SEO strategy
- Compile and provide weekly and monthly data on the website and customers
- Ad hoc reporting on website and product performance and customers
- Overflow point of contact for customer enquiries over phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate response and providing excellent customer service
- First point of escalation for the third-party warehouse to resolve any issues in the fulfilment of orders
- First point of escalation for issues with the OMS to ensure orders passing correctly from the website to warehouse for fulfilment
Candidate’s background
- Experience in ecommerce trading and the world of online retail, ideally small to medium business
- Exposure to/experience with CRM and email marketing
- Computer literate and confident working quickly with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Basic skills in Photoshop would be greatly beneficial
- Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo would be greatly beneficial
- Customer service background, whether in bricks and mortar or online, retail or service industry, would be greatly beneficial
