An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Photographer to join Burberry's Photo Studio team to produce photographic imagery for Brand, Corporate and Digital Commerce projects/tasks.

JOB PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this role is to create high quality e-commerce imagery and video content, capturing Burberry products to be used across the Burberry website, 3rd party platforms and extensively by stakeholders thought the wider business. You will work in partnership with styling and art direction to create imagery to the exacting and elevated standards Burberry has become known for. You will also be expected to assist production with studio work flow and to collaborate on creative projects with the opportunity to shoot stills and video for other departments within the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Taking digital imagery for Burberry.com and various other platforms. Categories include: Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear, Non-apparel, Fragrance, licensing products and beauty as well as digital assets for Marketing Teams, Retails and Creative projects
  • Shooting video content for Burberry.com and various other platforms.
  • Ensuring that all products are lit correctly, efficiently and creatively, in accordance with Burberry photography guidelines
  • Ability to work well within a team working well under pressure with a flexible attitude
  • Maintaining Burberry's renowned high standards for quality and excellence
  • Producing high quality and consistently beautiful images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and colour consistent
  • Prepare sets, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily shoot records
  • Image selection; working with the stylist to choose images that comply with the Style Guide
  • Accurately name and archive all digital assets
  • Mark up images with clear and informative notes for the Retouching Team
  • Crop and process images, maintaining file size specification guidelines
  • Perform quality assurance on all images through the product photography life cycle
  • Meeting personal targets as well as daily and weekly deadlines
  • Responsible for care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props and supplies


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Photographic qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience within a photography studio environment as a photographer
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience of photographic equipment and lighting set ups
  • High technical proficiency in Mac computers and software. Fluency in PhotoShop CS and Capture One is essential
  • Ability to work with and set up image profiles and actions
  • Assertive and constructive in directing models on set
  • Proven skills in photography
  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Detail oriented and creative
  • Ability to work towards multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work calm and collectively within a performance driven and pressured environment
  • Experience working for high profile fashion brand.
  • Advanced content and digital asset management
  • Ability to work well within a team

  • Effective time management skills to enable the team to carry out ad hoc duties for last minute briefs
