The Account Executive works directly with larger brands to develop and understand their commerce strategies and how Shopify can help them meet their goals. Your ultimate goal is to help them accelerate their growth. You will be asked to help develop and execute account strategies to generate new business opportunities (think new segment, geography, or product). We are merchant obsessed and driven in our goal to see entrepreneurs and brands succeed!

Qualifications

You'll need to have:
  • Full Sales Cycle experience preferably in technology/software environment
  • High energy and strong work ethic driving towards meeting or exceeding the teams and individual goals
  • The ability to work in a self-directed manner navigating through a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • A passion for talking to people, curiosity for understanding their unique business needs, and showing them how to 10X their business
  • Excellent relationship, communication, and influence skills
  • A love for trying new things, iterating and then diving in again
  • A sense of adventure and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Consultative and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to learn and collaborate with a team remotely
  • A proven history of excellence and track record of success


Requirements for the role:
  • A passion for technology and business owners, focusing on how to find a solution for their pain points
  • Able to think creatively, challenge assumptions and comfortably speak about various product offerings
  • A general understanding of Shopify'sproducts
