Filippa K is looking for a Fabric Manager to join our Fabric & Sustainability Team at our Head Office in Stockholm. The employment is full time with a start as soon as possible.


Your responsibilities will include: The role includes all fabric-related issues from start-up until quality has been confirmed for bulk production.

  • Source and develop new materials, inspire design with seasonal material directions. Expertise in both wovens and jersey.
  • Textile expert; ability to reverse engineer materials at the appropriate price point and from the right supplier. Able to translate existing materials into more sustainable versions while maintaining a luxurious touch.
  • Strong network of premium fabric mills in Italy, Portugal, France, Asia.
  • Knowledge of 3rd party certifications and focus on supply chain traceability. Must be sustainably minded and work toward FK’s goal to increase share of sustainable fibres and certified materials and reduce our impacts.
  • Manage new fibre collabs and other special developments, propose creative developments to highlight FK’s sustainability values. Knowledge of what’s happening on the market.
  • Ensure that cutting waste from garment production is put into new development or recycled.
  • Perform and follow up on quality tests for sample and bulk yardage, giving approvals to fabric suppliers.
  • Daily communication with fabric suppliers.
  • Place sample orders and follow up on delivery performance.
  • Keeping fabric library and all fabric information updated in PLM system.

The experience you’ll bring to the role is:


A degree in textiles, preferable in textile engineering and 5-10 years of fabric r&d experience, preferably with experience working with materials at a luxury brand. A good command of English both written, as well as spoken, is a requirement.
