JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for creating and developing innovative pop-up and temporary store environments which bring seasonal brand moments to life and reflect the brief.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under direction of the Senior Designer, this role is responsible for pop-up design from research and development of ideas through to technical packs and implementation
  • Develop different concepts, according to seasonal briefs, ensuring consistency and protecting the brand image whilst understanding regional needs and local adaptations
  • Communicate design ideas through research, references, and appropriate outputs ie. sketches / hand-drawings, renders or scale drawings
  • Develop designs independently and share for feedback in an open forum. Using this feedback to refine and develop ideas and solutions
  • Create design presentation packs and deliver these to internal and external audiences at varying levels of seniority
  • Partner with the construction and VM teams to develop each pop-up from initial concept through to pop-up opening
  • Work pro-actively with cross-functional partners to resolve design issues and come up with solutions which are in line with the brand aesthetic
  • Detail designs in the best tools to assist partners, external contractors or specialists
  • Source new and dynamic materials and techniques to build
  • Research and be aware of trends - across luxury fashion retail.


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Degree level in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Relevant experience of architecture design in luxury retail
  • Ability to manage consultants, 3rd party providers and local teams to ensure timely completion and maintenance of global standard for all projects
  • Creative design sensibility
  • Confident creative point of view
  • Technical knowledge and capability
  • Ability to influence and negotiate confidently with cross-functional partners
  • Knowledge of current market trends and competitor approaches
  • Well organised, flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and share information effectively
  • Collaborative team player with strong initiative.
