POSITION SUMMARY:

All brands strategy, product development and innovation are lead and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein, Heritage, and Tommy Hilfiger NA and SA brands and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Calvin Klein Europe and Asia brand. The position in this job description provides support on strategic, developmental or innovation activities to the above mentioned PVH related parties.

Supervise and manage end to end P2P related activites for all indirect categories including IT hardware, facilities management and others. Partner with 3rd party service providers, Business stakeholders, IT and other support functions to deliver a seamless process. Booking Accounting entries of invoices payable; preparation of audit and other schedules; Assist in period tax filling; ensure proper internal controls and Staff coaching and development

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Oversee the coding of AP/AR invoices and vouchers in SAP to ensure accuracy with proper filling/archiving of supporting documents. Ensure that vendor invoices and T&E claims are processed quickly and efficiently
  • Prepare monthly cash flow statement to aid office funding schedule for office operation including Bank Reconciliation Statement on a monthly basis
  • Assist in vendor onboarding adhering to all internal agreed compliance, Legal, policies and procedures
  • Assist in month end provision of vendor and T&E expenses
  • Ensure compliance with local applicable tax rules and regulations including GST/VAT/TDS
  • Monitor, co-ordinate and proactively drive the execution of the entire P2P process.
  • Ensure that all processes are as per the agreed governance, internal policies and procedures guiding and educating the wider teams on the correct ways of working and making improvements if necessary.
  • Be the first point of contact for P2P related questions for all regions managed within PVH India
  • Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders with vendors and stake holders.
  • Assist and engage with business partners, internal and external customers towards managing internal/external audits and other compliances
  • Guide other staff and colleagues by coordinating activities, answering questions, providing training and coaching
  • Lead and manage a small team including annual appraisals (along side Director)

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:

Internal: Other department members at relevant levels on a need basis.

External: Office supply vendors; Banks; Auditors

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct: Supervise 3-5 junior finance associates

DECISION MAKING:
  • Work effectively with other departments and able to think through to make relevant decisions in the accounting tasks; (ii) Able to give constructive guidelines to sub-ordinates.

  • Ability to understand the usage of various systems in an effective and efficient manner; Identifying and assisting in implementation of process improvements; Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects with adherence to deadlines.

  • Reasonable overtime might be required for key financial processes such as month-end/year-end close; budgets, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Education:
  • Degree holders in accounting or relevant disciplines; Semi-qualified/ qualified member of CA or equivalent

    Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience within a P2P role and/or accounting experience, preferably with a medium-sized company or above
Skills:
  • Strong PC Skills, MS Office skills(Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good knowledge in SAP
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (English)
  • Team player, eye for detail, logical and result-oriented
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting
  • Basic knowledge of Internal Controls
  • Sound knowledge of Auditing and Taxation
