Reporting into the Head of Product Development, the (senior) production manager ensures that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. The apparel production manager is in charge of the quality of the product before being shipped out for market distribution.

  Your Mission:

  • Create and oversee the production calendar for the team
  • Coordination and take full ownership of fitting and comments of all samples from size set stage to PPS sample 
  • Supporting with supplier on boarding and allocation decisions ( i.e. Evaluation of supplier capabilities , counter development etc.)
  • Work with development & commercialisation team to identify potential product quality risks and follow up actions
  • Work with On’s manufacturing partners in continuous improvement at the early stage of production to ensure quality and efficiency are both met On’s expectation
  • Together with the ASO monitor bulk production and support with any questions to assure shipment of all collections on time

  Your Story:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in fashion design or technical education in garment manufacturing
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Apparel development
  • Affinity for contemporary Apparel and knowing to read and translate On’s design vision and product strategy
  • Solid level of technical skills, such as knowledge in pattern cutting, garment manufacturing and material
  • Passionate about translating and realising the On design vision into a refined and leading product
  • Organised and hands-on working attitude with a flexible and open mind for visionary solutions
  • International experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a sense for the market
  • Good experience in Adobe illustrator, photoshop & Microsoft Office
  • Able to work at a fast pace and think and react quickly with the ever changing environment
  • Able to travel on a regular basis between HQ and production and development partners 
  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English is a must
