Software Engineer - Logistics

In a fast and frequently changing retail environment, HB US is searching for an ambitious, curious systems analyst to support business growth and provide state of the art systems & applications. This Software Engineer has a technical background and experience developing SAP EWM/WM systems and understands logistics processes in general. In this role, you help analyse business requirements and implement IT concepts and support new processes, solutions, applications or even systems.

What you can expect:

• Use standard SAP tools to design, develop, build, and implement robust/efficient solutions into SAP EWM / WM / LES for business requirements
• Optimize and improve applications and information system continuously for logistics and cross module functionalities
• Support supply chain area encompassing logistics functionality and business processes like inbound, put-away, picking, packing, outbound, value added services, inventory management and transportation systems
• Assist with testing activities including, but not limited to, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with regional business and global IT teams
• Continuous refreshment and expansion of your own know-how in the defined area of responsibility

Your profile:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing IT solutions in SAP eWM and/or SAP WM-LES (preferred in a retail or consumer goods industry environment).
• Minimum 5-year experience in programming using ABAP with recent experience in EWM
• Experience with detailed requirements gathering and strong process design skills.
• Well versed with integration points between SAP EWM/ECC and other modules
• Familiar with designing CIF, IDOC/ALE, BAPI/RFC, FORMS, LABELS, RF, PPF, BADI
• Experience in developing WEBDYNPRO, webservices and, interfaces would be plus
• Analytical, independent, structured, careful work attitude, as well as organizational talent and assertiveness
• Ability to prioritize and manage commitments and adjust to changing priorities
• Good communication skills
