We are looking for that exceptional someone to join our Global Revenue Enablement team to rocket fuel and equip our sales teams with the critical knowledge to successfully deliver an amazing experience for our Merchants.

The Product Enablement Specialist will play a massive role in building, maintaining, and scaling our sales craft programs and onboarding. This exciting role has a significant impact on our new hires' success and plays a pivotal role in Shopify's continued growth.

About the role:
  • Help build and maintain sales programs in alignment with the instructional design framework, including metrics and reporting infrastructure.
  • Support the execution and/or facilitation of merchant facing team enablement programs (primarily for Sales and Merchant Success)
  • Expand and iterate on existing enablement programs in partnership with to support our sales teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive new program development with the Program Lead and Program Managers.
  • Help with general coordination work across the team to ensure programs are running smoothly.
  • Work with the Enablement Content Manager to evaluate content and resources to ensure they reflect any organizational or product changes.
  • Engage enablement partners for feedback on programs to help drive the direction of the program.
  • Utilize enablement tools to accelerate the success of our sales teams
  • Work collaboratively, across multiple functions and teams, to support the build of merchant-facing programs complete with learning courses, assessments, objection handling, job aids, and other key materials to enhance productivity and competencies.
  • Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to assess and identify the ongoing skill and habit program needs of our global sales teams; build upon our existing programs
  • Drive education and awareness of our sales programs to key audiences including new employees, sales leaders, cross-functional teams, and talent.


Requirements for the role:
  • Extensive experience in full-sales cycle roles, preferable in a SaaS company
  • Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and team management skills
  • Eager attitude to learn and hit the ground running
  • Familiarity / experience with learning management and content management systems
