Nanushka is looking for a talented Accountant to join our team.

Reports to (direct manager): Senior Accountant

Key responsibilities and duties:

GL Accounting:

●      A complete accounting of the main processes: booking of the incoming and outgoing invoices, bank transactions, and inventory moves (UK, US)

●      Calculate and post taxes, GL journals (UK, US, HU)

●      Calculate, post, and reconcile leased assets, fixed asset, and CAPEX accounting activities (UK, US, HU)

●      The month-end closing process, including the creation of month-end accruals for various income and expense items, including financial and operating costs (UK, US, HU)

●      Prepare Audit documentation and participation in internal and external Audits

●      Prepare documentation for Tax audits

●      Closely cooperate with external (accounting service providers) and internal (business owners, controlling) stakeholders when performing the tasks above

Other:

●      Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements

●      Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:


Skills:

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-level accuracy
  • Highly motivated and organized, results-oriented with strong attention to details
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; proactive when it comes to challenges
  • Experience in using the Navision accounting system is a strong plus
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Be familiar with account reconciliation

Education:

  • University/College degree in accounting / Chartered accountant degree
  • Knowledge of IFRS
     

Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years relevant experience in an international environment
