Community Manager & Assistant - Retail Core

As a Community Manager & Assistant Retail Core -You will be responsible to enable and connect employees, colleagues and teams within Retail Core with the aim to strengthen a sense of community and belonging in Retail Core-Tech, you will be working closely with Sr. management and will be leading the conversation on community topics. You will organize and simplify the daily work of our Directors and Heads. Working with different departments and stakeholders you are self motivated and focused on getting the job done. You always stay on top of things, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you quickly get to grips with new and changing tasks, structure them carefully and set clear priorities to achieve goals and continuously improve your results.
  • Play an active role in building a great community in a cross functional and international team.
  • Onboard, support and empower members of the Retail Core -Tech Department
  • Develop strategies, concepts and tools to increase engagement and interaction within our department, continuously explore opportunities to engage with our community in innovative ways.
  • Develop plans for community launch, activation and growth; and oversee community programs from discovery, definition, design to delivery and beyond
  • Coordinate and organise events and workshops within the department from idea conception to execution making sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Responsible for connecting the Retail Core Tech community with the overall company-wide tech community as well as sub-communities.
  • Create copy and content which engages readers & aligns with our tone of voice mainly for our intranet
  • Work together with our senior management and make sure that all administrative and organizational tasks run smoothly. This includes coordinating and scheduling appointments with internal and external participants, support in the planning and execution for all-hands meetings.
  • Communicating clearly & working effectively with colleagues at all business levels
  • Support different projects (e.g. planning and coordinating office space, conduct user and employee surveys and prepare their results and actions to senior management)
  • At least two years experience in an assistant and/or office management position, working closely with senior management to get things done
  • Passionate about people and communities. You already gathered first experiences in community management.
  • Administrative and organizational skills, incl. effective prioritization of tasks as well as the ability to take initiative, understand deadlines and execute multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent and confident communication skills in English. German and any other European languages are a plus
  • Open-minded team player with pro-active attitude to anticipate the needs of your team
