POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This position is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of plans for the efficient use of company space within the Chico's FAS Corporate Campus as well as other corporate facilities. Will maximize efficient use of space considering staff needs, associate satisfaction and trends in space management. Will manage tenant services for Chico's Corporate Park according to established policies and procedures.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Partners in the development and oversight of the company's long-term plan, ensuring the complete success of the design in terms of space allocation to each department and individual associate.
  • Partners with construction, purchasing, and operations teams and provides design support throughout the course of each project.
  • Partners with architects in the design and implementation phases of new building construction by providing desired floor plans including seating allocation, electric placement, amenity space, common space, etc.
  • Maintains site maps, as-built drawings and data regarding seating capacity, space availability and security access.
  • Assesses and assigns space according to prioritized utilization, negotiate usage of space, trading of space, and coordination of appropriate resources.
  • Provides space planning services and coordinates the details of each office move and furniture reconfiguration project communicating effectively with all contingencies and assuring accurate, timely project completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Produces and maintains CAD drawings and floor plans for existing office spaces and shell building space.
  • Participates in the final inspections to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
  • Coordinates multi-disciplinary meetings to prepare user groups for reorganization and occupancy of space.
  • Represents department administration regarding facilities usage and space allocation
  • Monitors project budgets.
  • Acts as liaison for Chico's Corporate Park tenants regarding services, event space and special requests.
  • Responsible for warehouse management of buildings that include fixed assets that enter and depart.
  • Responsible for all company owned art cataloging, installation, and placement coordination.
  • Handles all workspace related work orders, i.e. furniture reconfigurations, FF&E repair, etc.
  • Develops workspace standards, manages corporate campus accordingly. Handles all move management needs for the company to include all departmental relocations, expansions, and contractions, plus all associate new hires, terminations, promotions, etc.
  • Ensures all common space and event space is prepared according to relevant events, including managing furniture setup and booking to ensure space is available and ready for use.
  • Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicatingexpectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
  • 3-5+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Interior design license required
  • Ability to manage a progressively increasing workload
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Superior detail and results orientation with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential materials
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Availability to travel on flexible schedule
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying policies and guidelines
  • Proficiency with CAD
  • Proficiency with MS application (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)
  • Construction Coordination preferred
