OVERVIEW:


The Customer Analytics Manager will be responsible for providing insight into Gymshark's North American customer KPIs, clear data-led forecasting and working with teams across the business to make more informed strategic decisions. Reporting to the Head of Insights, you will be leading a team providing key insight, analysis, and recommendations into Gymshark's customer base. Working closely with the Global Data & Insights Team based in the UK, this role is pivotal in ensuring Gymshark's strategies and tactics are data led.

Leading a team of analysts, you will be responsible for setting a clear vision and roadmap for the team, ensuring they add value across the North American business. As Customer Analytics Manager, you will identify value-adding work and help guide the team to deliver a wide range of projects that can be used to make informed decisions on Gymshark's customer base, ranging from agile insights to complex strategic projects. You will shape how customer analytics can best be utilized within the business and ensure synergy across the wider analytics team. The Customer Analytics Manager will be an expert in the use of analytical tools and techniques, developing your team in these areas, while providing an unbiased perspective on strategies that are born out of analytics.

Please note while we are currently offering a hybrid work model, all candidates must be either Denver based, or willing to relocate to Denver, CO. 100% Remote work is not available for this role. You must also be legally able to work in the United States. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Own all customer performance reporting relating to KPIs, enabling the business to understand customer performance and how to create strategies from learnings
  • Lead embedding strategic insight projects delivered by the customer analytics team to ensure stakeholders are using insights to drive actions
  • Provide updates on customer performance with actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Partner with, and influence, key stakeholders across multiple business teams to manage and prioritize team workload, ensuring that the most valuable work is always done to answer key questions
  • Grow, lead, and inspire a team of analysts (3)
  • Develop and coach your team in the planning and undertaking of analytics projects and the building of reports, ensuring they have strong skills across all analytics techniques, tools and methodologies
  • Establish and own a clear roadmap and vision for the team, giving them direction on their responsibilities, objectives, and development plan
  • Forecast customer performance (new customers, existing customers, region splits etc.), ensuring the business has clear visibility on performance vs targets
  • Communicate with, and influence the data team on data processing and cleansing improvements to ensure your team have access to accurate and complete data sets
  • Partner with the Commercial Analytics Team, ensuring they have visibility of customer performance and vice versa, enabling more joined up strategies and tactics
  • Partner with the Marketing Analytics Manager on ownership of test and learn approach across the Media Team for all channels, advising on customer groups to target and test
  • Maintain strong relationships with all sub-teams across the data function, sharing learnings to maximize the access and value of insights across the business

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Strong experience within an analytics role and managing a team of analysts
  • Experience working within an insight function and informing customer-led strategies
  • Advanced skills in analytics tools/languages, Alteryx and SQL preferred
  • Advanced skills in BI tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau or Power BI
  • Extensive experience working with (including the manipulation of) large data sets to track and manage customer performance, Database & Snowflake experience preferred
  • Strong ability to identify patterns and trends but also understand what is driving them
  • Experience developing team members and mentoring to upskill analysts
  • Expert communicator, able to explain insights to non-analytically minded stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders, ensuring their decisions are data led
  • A team player, able to build and maintain close relationships with range of stakeholders
  • Ability to ask the right questions and identify the most effective analytical methods to solve business problems
  • A problem solver and logical thinker, with the ability to see the bigger picture and get to the underlying business questions
  • Exceptional presentation/communication skills with the ability to influence/sell ideas to internal stakeholders and colleagues
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload for a growing analytics team, satisfying the needs of a broad range of stakeholders and delivering under pressure to tight deadlines

This role has a salary range between $92,000-$105,000 annually depending on experience.

Part of our compensation package includes a discretionary annual company performance bonus.
