This is an exciting opportunity for a Copywriter to join us on our mission to empower women through fitness and beyond by creating compelling consumer-focused copy that connects us with our customers and community.

Reporting to the Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for writing on-brand copy across our marketing channels, including our website, product copy, emails, ads and blogs.

Your SB Journey

  • Work with the Senior Copywriter to create brilliant copy, ensuring all comms are brand-enhancing and consumer-focused 
  • Writing copy across all different channels 
  • Having a strong sense of commercial, brand and technical awareness, whilst keeping up to date with current trends 
  • Working closely with the web team to ensure all content is on brand and up to date including home pages, banners and content spots, community and brand areas of site 
  • Create content for the Sweaty Betty blog, with a particular focus on SEO friendly content 
  • Brainstorm copy ideas 
  • Writing engaging and accurate product copy  
  • Keeping the brand team’s product directory up to date with product research

Must Haves

  • Experience of at least 2-3 years, working within a global digital lifestyle or retail brand 
  • A natural storyteller with excellent writing, subbing and editing skills 
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation 
  • Detail-oriented team player with creative problem solving and excellent communication skills 
  • An ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The nature of the role involves working closely with various stakeholders across the business, so a confident, approachable and considerate character is an essential
  • A positive approach to your work; you are open to receiving constructive feedback
  • PC literate with working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office
