JOB SUMMARY

The PR Associate will function as part of the Public Relations team and support Tory Burch and Tory Sport press efforts for North America. This role reports to the Director of Public Relations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

National & Regional Print/Digital Press
  • Handle all editorial requests for print and digital Tory Burch and Tory Sport directly with editors
  • Coordinate sample requests for Tory Burch and Tory Sport
  • Manage all credit requests
  • Responsible for gathering assets for key product pitches and seasonal initiatives
  • Maintain and update press contact database

Cross-Functional + Additional Responsibilities
  • Cross-functional partnership for sample shares and projects
  • Monitor and circulate press and editorial social media coverage
  • Manage and report on Tory Burch and Tory Sport credits for recapping
  • Up to date knowledge of Tory Burch and Tory Sport key messages and assortments seasonally - partnering with Merch, Buying, Marketing, etc.
  • Oversee logistics for still life shoots / look book coordination
  • Seasonal sample ordering
  • Manage seasonal collection photography and assets
  • Hiring of seasonal interns
  • Support a variety of special projects and seasonal initiatives including seasonal fashion shows

QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS/BA degree required with 3-4 years work experience in public relations, fashion, marketing or publishing
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Fashion GPS, and working knowledge of social media platforms
  • Understanding of the evolving fashion market and press landscape including key editorial trends, influencers, and print/digital publications
