Director, Omni-Channel Marketing [North America, Off Price]

Scope: Kate Spade New York is seeking a Director, Omni-Channel Marketing North America Off Price programs to support all marketing initiatives.
Report to: Sr. Director Integrated Marketing

The Director of Omni-Channel Marketing, Off Price plays a vital role within the Kate Spade organization, responsible for marketing initiatives across our two largest businesses in North America, Outlet stores and our discount site, Surprise.Katespade.com. This role leads 360 strategy of annual, seasonal, and monthly retail marketing strategies across stores and site, from initiative design to implementation and assessment of results. Strategic direction will be grounded by consumer insights, customer data, best practices and benchmarks. In addition to driving the seasonal marketing themes and messages, this role also provides operational oversight to ensure projects stay on-track and deliverables are executed. This role will partner across the organization, gathering inputs from stakeholders and communicating strategic marketing direction to key partners including Buying, Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, Store Operations, Visual, Creative and Marketing Ops teams.

The right candidate is creative with a strong marketing mindset, the ability to transform brand equities, customer insights and product knowledge into compelling communications and activations. In addition, this candidate should have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, problem solving, navigating complexity and driving/adhering to deadlines.

Lead seasonal briefing for Outlet and Surprise channels, identifying high level key messages and moments throughout the season. In season, develop tactical messaging plans for distribution across marketing channels including email and paid social

Concept omni experiences & events, moments that come to life seamlessly across stores and online

Work across business teams, creative and project management to ensure business objectives and product priorities are aligned upon in a timely manner. Communicate objectives and priorities to all marketing channel owners holistically

Develop & manage marketing calendar, ensuring consistency of priorities, reflection of consumer mindset and messaging across channels

Review and synthesize weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs, turning insight into actionable marketing plans
-
Act as point of contact for creative, providing strategic briefs and guidance, reviewing content (paid social, email, etc.) to ensure output is aligned with briefs

Owns relationships with marketing partners at key mall properties e.g., Simon, Woodbury, etc.

Support and scale local marketing efforts to drive community engagement

Develop materials and tools to support store-led marketing programs
-
Collaborate with stores leadership to identify and test new tactics and scale if successful
-
Prepare and deliver presentations for a variety of audiences, including senior leadership.

Manage time of self and cross-functional partners - ensuring all key stakeholders adhere to and meet creative and production deadlines.

Track and report program specific, weekly & monthly KPIs

Manage the annual marketing budget, with support from the Sr. Director and Finance partners

Bachelor's Degree required

10-15+ years of hands-on experience in a multi-channel marketing role

Experience working on an off-price/outlet business preferred

An understanding of digital - online marketing/e-commerce experience required

Strong marketing mindset underscored with business acumen

The ability to communicate and partner effectively with creatives

Self-starter with a hands-on approach, good instincts for prioritization and the ability to work under a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
