To this end, we develop uniform processes and guidelines for all accounting/tax/treasury topics and advise our internal customers on the further development of operational processes and the implementation of the CLAIM 5 growth strategy. In the future, we can expect many exciting projects, which we want to support optimally right from the start. We are therefore looking for a new team player who enjoys making a difference and moving things forward in a dynamic, international environment.

What you can expect:
  • You are the first point of contact for our globally operating production and sales companies for complex accounting issues as well as for process topics related to the preparation of financial statements
  • You will ensure timely and complete reporting for the companies you support and will independently perform analyses and the corresponding quality controls
  • You will also be responsible for the monthly execution and plausibility check of complex consolidation and elimination activities, such as the elimination of intercompany profits.
  • You will successfully apply your expertise to accounting-related issues as part of company-wide projects and in close coordination with the Group auditors
  • You will play a key role in the preparation of the notes to the consolidated financial statements and coordinate these independently with the interface departments and the group auditor
  • You will independently coordinate training sessions and the regular update of newsletters on accounting and process topics for the global finance community
  • You proactively contribute ideas and take lead for the continuous development and optimization of the financial statement generation process with a focus on process efficiency as well as automation and digitalization
  • The professional development of team members and supervision and coaching of interns rounds out your job profile

Your profile:
  • Successfully completed degree in business administration / economics with specialization in accounting / auditing
  • Many years of experience in group accounting / auditing (> 5 years) of an internationally operating and listed group or relevant experience in an auditing company
  • Strong knowledge of accounting according to IAS/IFRS and the preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of the consolidation software SEM BCS, SAP FI/CO and SAP BIS
  • Your way of working is proactive and solution-oriented and you like to take ownership
  • You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills and a high level of customer orientation
  • You can communicate complex accounting issues in a comprehensible and understandable manner, particularly in English

Your benefits:
  • Made for Me: three days in Metzingen and two days working remotely. Our hybrid working model "Threedom of work" is as individual as your personal needs.
  • Today. Tomorrow. Always. Sustainability is one of our key values, and more than just a trend. We are committed to environmental, animal and climate protection, and human rights.
  • Does innovation drive you? Same for us! We have digitized most of our workflows and almost fully automated our logistics centres.
  • Exclusive discounts for shopping and arts: benefit from discounts for family and friends along with free entrance to more than 15 international art museums.
  • High-performing people need a healthy balance. Take advantage of the employee gym, the beach volleyball field or yoga classes on the rooftop terrace.
  • As a fashion company, we value good taste in everything - including food. Welcome to our own restaurant and café, Times.
