We are launching a new brand which challenges us to do things in new ways. This brand considers its place in a larger world, and asks the customer to see product life cycle and participate in a sustainable strategy. It is inspired by the creative life and is in association with an important artist.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Commercial Lead. The focus would be on building exceptional retail relationships that nurture the concept and value the product cycle. This person would work cross functionally with our design, development, production, marketing and e-commerce teams to execute the business strategy at a high level. 

This is an opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and repurposing. It is for someone who can express brand values, someone who can work closely with all members of a small start up team. It is about making strong client connections and contributing on a personal and professional level.

What your day to day will look like

Commercial/ Wholesale

  • Hone the business plan, adjust global & regional sales strategy on a regular basis, and oversee sales forecasting
  • Drive delivery of outstanding customer service and the achievement of the sales targets of the brand
  • Work closely with all Tomorrow London support teams to provide optimum service and smooth communication between Tomorrow and the brand
  • Support the MD with managing brand activities and overseeing progress across multiple work streams
  • Lead sales markets including: management of temporary sales team, market preparation, booking and taking appointments, leading conversations with key accounts
  • Overseeing worldwide deliveries and ensuring smooth communication / execution between internal departments; distribution/logistics/ customer service
  • Building strong relationships with retail partners, and managing the Partnership Agreements in place with each account

Collaborations & Special Projects

  • Accountable for collaboration revenue targets across wholesale and E-commerce
  • Drive and pipeline collaboration partnerships for the brand in coordination with Tomorrow’s Brand Partnerships Director, brand’s Creative Director, and Tomorrow’s Digital Director

Retail & Regional Distribution Partnerships

  • Oversee the brand’s retail business activity within all retail accounts, and ensure the brand is best positioned for growth within all doors
  • Manage pop-‐ups, in-‐store installations, and other marketing & sales driven activities with key partners to continuously reinforce brand presence and identity. with support of retail team
  • Define & own the annual trade marketing budget
  • Ensure optimization of inventory, and oversee ATS strategy working with Digital and Customer service teams

Product/ Merchandising/ Production

  • Work closely with Merchandising and Product teams to support development of range plans, ensuring we are proposing a strongly merchandised and relevant offer that meets moving commercial/market needs
  • Work closely with Production & Merchandising to adjust collection offer during market to optimize sales vs MOQs, reducing risk of cancellations, and post market to define final order book cut

Analytical

  • Direct high degree of market monitoring, result tracking as well as developing sales/pricing strategies to keep the brand competitive and innovative
  • Accurately forecast future sales and forming sales analysis to capture shifts in the marketplace
  • Deliver bi-annual sales reports and support reporting for management or board meetings

What do you need to succeed 

  • Strong experience in managing wholesale account relationships and businesses
  • Passion for sustainability, circularity and repurposing 
  • 5+ years of proven working experience as Head of Sales or similar
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
