Founded in 2015, established through a process of fabric and material study, A-COLD-WALL* examines the codes and language of modern, luxury menswear through the lens of class, community, globalisation, and modernity.

Rooted in architecture, industrial design and artistic expression, A-COLD-WALL* seeks to incite a progressive cultural conversation around the possibilities of modern menswear and its function within societies.

We are looking for an experienced Global Marketing Director who can deepen the behaviours, activities and engagements within our global community through a blend of digital, physical and multi-media based projects developed annually with founder and Creative Director Samuel Ross.

What your day to day will look like

  • Develop and implement a creative and engaging marketing strategies across collaborations, seasonal collections & special projects to build upon brand awareness and communicate A-COLD-WALL*’s nature of radical design, progressive communication and sharp artistic sensibilities.
  • Research and develop new and communication strategies for digital, social, and physical deployment across global regions including EMEA, APAC & NA.
  • Guide and lead regional agencies managing local / regional PR, as well as international social media across platforms including Weibo, Naver, Cacao (tone of voice, content quality, content narrative, post frequency).
  • Integrate B2B partnerships including regional agencies and marketing related activities, identifying grey areas within
  • Set, monitor and deploy global marketing budgets across seasonal and collaboration based projects on both a macro and micro level.
  • Plan and develop seasonal campaign initiatives in collaboration with the Creative Director and Head of Brand Experience, and ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery
  • Take the lead on brand partner dialogues, establishing and integrating strong brand relationships reflective of A-COLD-WALL*s subculture lead values.
  • Track and monitor project timelines with detail, assessing potential clashes and re-assessments relevant to annual objectives.
  • Confidently lead and be accountable for the marketing and communications activity for the brand from start to delivery (context, budget, location, talent, medium, launch window)

What do you need to succeed

  • Proven work experience as a brand Marketing Lead within global Luxury Fashion, Streetwear or Sportswear companies.
  • Experience in developing communities around relevant brands and delivering nuance, distinct community-based activations that align with brand.
  • Experience managing key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing plans, writing marketing briefs and other strategic marketing documents linked to expenditure.
  • Experience in managing and utilising sizeable, global marketing budgets through traditional presentation methods including Excel.
  • Experience in managing communications partners across multiple territories
  • Experience leading and building teams
  • Passion for streetwear and strong connection with progressive retail and the next generation of luxury fashion.
  • Strong creative, brand communications & project management skills
  • Curatorial mindset with a strong understanding of design, visual communication, relevant subcultures and market demand with an ability to assess audience preferences determined through historic context.
