Our team now consists of writers, editors, designers, photographers, podcasters, engineers, and so many other key players who cement HODINKEE’s position as the most trusted source for watch news and products. We have a website. An app. A podcast. A magazine. A retail business. And more. HODINKEE’s goal is to bring readers and consumers the best in wristwatches in a way that’s approachable, authentic, honest and fun.

Our Quality Control Specialist will be thoroughly inspecting watches prior to and during the listing period. This person will work closely with our Authentication and Watchmaking teams to make sure the condition of each watch that passes into the listings process meets HODINKEE’s standards of quality.

  • Implementing the intervention process as needed for watches that require reexamination by production teams earlier in the process
  • Matching watches against watch specifications (e.g., correct dial color, bracelet type, aftermarket parts) and adding specifications to internal systems as needed
  • Using company-defined standards to rank watch conditions
  • Assisting with physical and digital inventory management by moving watches into appropriate locations that correspond with their statuses
  • Working closely with the Operations and Watch Services teams to handle watches that need to be sent back to earlier steps in the servicing process

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with watches or jewelry preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
