John Galliano was named Creative Director of the house in 2014, bringing his sense of spectacle and creative mastery to the unique ethos of Maison Margiela. Job mission:
  • Assist in the creation and execute visual projects (videos, images, animations) linked to marketing & communications, events, collaborations, partnerships, films, shows, product launches,
  • Support on day to day graphic design subjects

Job responsibilities & activities:

MM Shows/ Films
  • Support Content Management for all in-house filming procedures (process work, fittings, styling) & filming at Staff Int: Organize, archive, pre-edit captured footage of in-house footage for Co-Ed and Artisanal seasonal films
  • Assist with managing external capturing teams at Staff
  • Assist with capturing briefings, guidelines, etc / MM Studio,
  • Assistant in and execute the creation of print/digital invitations

Graphic Design
  • Support the creation of on-brand tools and graphic assets for the following departments, as well as external parties

Graphic design for Social Media & PR
  • Support Digital and Press team on video and photography editing (stills, videos, animations)
  • Support on digital content formatting and editing for stills and video
  • Photo & video retouching for Press & Digital departments

  • Visual research for the communication department for creative briefings & special projects

Lookbooks ( Press)
  • Support and assist with the production, of seasonal lookbooks
  • Support visual conceptualization for the seasonal lookbook content
  • Execution of Press Printed & Digital Lookbook layout

Omnichannel, CRM
  • Support and assist with creation of Digital & Print VIC loobook
  • Assist with Design & Execution of Retail and HR Tools (bags shopping, buisness cards, print, etc)
  • Execute with Gifting concepts for VIC
  • Ensure and Execute retail tools (newletter, e-vite, homepage, etc) in line with brand visual identity
  • Liaise with printers and other vendors related to the graphics department

  • Assist with content creation for MM6 (invitation, teasers, photography, Instagram filter, backstage video & assets)
  • Assist with MM6 backstage content (filming / shooting / editing)
  • Execute with retail tools updated (in-store thank you cards, receipt holders, shopping bags)

International Offices
  • Create & execute print and digital invitations for all special events WW
  • Create & execute Region-specific assets ( i.e Chinese New Year) in partnership with Digital Team

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and luxury competitor events, sponsorships, fashion shows and client experiences
Skills & Experience
  • Education background linked to Arts / Graphic design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator; Adobe Premier is a plus;
  • Understanding of printing techniques;
  • Understanding and interest in UX;
  • Team player, constructive approach, relationship builder, spirit of initiative, confident executer, fashion savy
  • English mandatory, French
  • Previous experience in fashion is a plus
