Job Details
The Digital Marketing Assistant will own the end-to-end social media presence of the brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Shaku social accounts and the development of the brand’s digital marketing and content strategies. The candidate will work closely with our Founder to put together the content and execute the strategies. This is an ideal role for an individual with either proven experience in social media marketing, OR with great ideas and some know-how to play a pivotal role in the delivery of an ambitious digital growth strategy. We are looking for an enthusiastic personality who will own their role in a dynamic, fast-paced and entrepreneurial atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy
- Develop and implement long-term, project-based and ad hoc social strategies to support brand and business objectives
- Help to create and execute digital marketing campaigns, paid and unpaid, across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok
- Develop and implement our hashtag strategy
- Activity and content planning in collaboration with our PR team
- Ensure social campaigns are aligned with ecommerce and physical store activity
- Develop and execute our influencer and ambassador programmes
- Help plan collaborations and events.
- Stay current in social media and digital marketing trends
Social Media Execution
- Manage all Shaku social media accounts on a daily basis
- Content analysis and optimisation, as well as weekly and monthly reporting
- Manage the Shaku communities across all platforms
- Manage the email marketing
Content Creation
- Produce, develop and implement the Shaku content strategy
- Build upon and create social story arcs and narratives
- Create compelling visual content
- Create editorial content
- Plan and develop content calendars
- Develop paid and unpaid content, giveaways, photos and video designed to drive engagement
Essential Requirements
- 1+ years in a similar role i.e. social media in house or with a digital agency
- Bachelor's degree in a similar or related field
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal, numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient knowledge of Photoshop
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly
- Acute attention to detail
Job Details
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm
Friday is an optional work from home, while the pandemic continues
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
Salary: up to £25,000 per year depending on experience
