Our global communications team consists of public relations, social media and event management, and is based at our headquarters in Munich. The PR team is responsible for maintaining corporate PR strategy, overseeing global media responsibility and managing influencer seeding. The social media team handles all Mytheresa channels from Instagram and Facebook to Weibo and Wechat, making sure we are connected with customers across the globe. And finally, the events team works tirelessly to execute events in partnership with our brands in cities around the world – think Paris, London, Seoul, Madrid, Venice and more.

Whilst we continue to grow and scale the Mytheresa brand, we are looking for a Team Lead Global Events and Special Projects. You will be responsible to create and organize all Mytheresa events on a global scale. This truly is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to be at the forefront responsible for the physical and digital events of a growing international e-commerce business.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Create events on a global scale that resonate with the Mytheresa target group, make the Mytheresa DNA tangible and create sharable content / stories

  • Responsible for all Mytheresa physical and digital events in terms of concept creation including format, location, creative concept and organization respecting the Mytheresa DNA

  • Collaborate with brands in terms of event creation and organization and lead the communication with the dedicated contact

  • Create guidelines for customer events to be implemented by the personal shopping team

  • Closely liaise with Public Relations, Social and Personal shopping

  • Liaise with key partners that are key to make an event a memorable experience such as caterer, florists, decorators, musicians etc. and permanently update the partners we work with

  • Always be up to date on the latest trends of events and adapt to the Mytheresa brand positioning

  • Lead the events team from event concept to event realization

  • Manage budget and costs of each event and special project

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Passionate individual who understands Mytheresa and wants to create memorable experiences

  • Understand the luxury industry and the target groups

  • Strong communication skills

  • Result-oriented and operational – hands on mentality

  • Ideally international marketing experience & supplier contacts

  • Great time management and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • At least 7-10 years of experience

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
