About the Role

Gap Inc's Strategic Growth Office ("SGO") is at the forefront of driving our next chapter of growth. As the Head of SGO Marketing, you will own and execute business-to-business ("B2B") marketing strategies in support of our new business ventures, build collateral for go-to-market efforts, establishing branding and partner with third parties including agencies to execute campaigns for new business and programs across channels. This position will help bring the Strategic Growth Office vision to life - helping Gap Inc. to execute on new opportunities that fuel growth and accelerate new capabilities across its portfolio of brands. This role will report to the Head of Go to Market and Governance and will support across our various business launches.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and facilitate, in partnership with SGO General Managers (GMs) of new businesses, strategic omnichannel marketing campaigns that meet business-to-business sales objectives
  • Build and establish branding for the suite of new businesses including launch marketing materials, sales marketing materials and marketing campaigns aimed at B2B efforts
  • Support GMs to plan their go-to-market strategies
  • Bring together data, design thinking, and modern day digital marketing strategies to define the overall SGO marketing strategy as well as new business marketing strategies
  • Drive, own, and iterate on the brand visual identity for multi-channel campaigns that touch all areas of the customer experience
  • Own the planning, execution, and control of multiple strategic collaboration projects with strong analytical focus and understanding of business strategies
  • Partner with key Gap stakeholders and third parties to execute innovative and impactful product storytelling
  • Accomplish multiple creative projects simultaneously across all vehicles (digital, print); collaborating to build concept boards, photo briefs and design assets across multiple channels
  • Leverage cultural, consumer, and business insights to ensure all creative work is strategy-led and positions the SGO as a thought leader, values driven, and innovative brand
  • Present creative in various settings, partnering with key business partners to garner feedback and cultivate consensus
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute analysis and align on path forward


Who You Are

  • 12+ years experience in marketing; both agency and in-house experience a plus. 3+ B2B experience required
  • Have a true passion for marketing as well as being a true conceptual thought-leader, helping the SGO to continuously evolve over time
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing go-to-market campaigns for new business and programs in the B2B space
  • Support the development of prospecting strategies through insights and the development of sales collateral, including but not limited to sales team presentations, leave behind assets, story-telling, decks, etc.
  • You operate at an executive level with the ability to both mentor and manage; player-coach mindset
  • You have a compelling portfolio of distinctive work that demonstrates experience across branding and go-to-market efforts
  • A creative visionary-people are inspired by and excited to work with you
  • Strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to clearly and articulately explain your rationale and evoke excitement with your recommendations
