JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Analyst is a key team member on the Global Transportation & Logistics Team. The analyst will be responsible for identifying and addressing vendors' delivery-related issues with production partners and our vendors; encouraging compliance through vendors' educations & adaption to the compliance guideline and reporting progress. The Logistics Analyst will also be involved in projects that enhance company-wide visibility to the product flow, including but not limited to identifying data discrepancies; analyzing root cause and communicating variances with our service partners.

This role requires the ability to research, analyze data, organize information and present and communicate the findings to both internal and external partners. Finally, this position plays a critical role in ensuring that the transportation & logistics group meets or exceeds internal and external customer needs and business objectives. No task is too big or too small if it supports driving customer satisfaction and business requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor the vendor compliance program
  • Approve vendor's request to ship non-compliant carton size
  • Review compliance issues reported by internal parties
  • Analyze issues to identify root causes
  • Communicate issues with the vendors
  • Prepare reports
  • Support Ad Hoc requests


Provide Network Transport Visibility project support
  • Review test cases
  • Analyze data and communicate findings


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES NOT COVERED IN FOCUS AREAS

Capacity management
  • Maintain and update ocean and air capacity monitoring report
  • Provide KPI of our service partners
  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics required
  • 1-3 years' work experience in related field preferred
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Detailed oriented and ability to mine datasets
  • Self-motivated and ability to take initiative in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook required.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView) preferred.
