Role Overview:

The Art Director is responsible for co-concepting and leading all of the visual creative touch-points for a new fashion and apparel brand, including but not limited to: campaigns, social, e-commerce, stores, brand initiatives, PR initiatives and events. The candidate will support the business needs of internal partners, while delivering a best in class creative. This is a fast paced, dynamic company, the ideal candidate must have confidence, initiative, passion and drive.

 

Responsibilities:

Creative

· Produce forward thinking and industry leading, high quality creative work for digital, social, e- commerce, instore, advertising & product

· Manage all concepts and visual designs from beginning to end to ensure the needs of all stakeholders are met

· Art direct photo shoots and video shoots as needed

· Stay on top of trends in the design, typography and photography world

· Responsible for delivering quality work that adheres to briefs, is on brand, and is forward thinking

Brand

· Support in brand management and adherence to guidelines to ensure consistency across channels

· Work closely with internal teams and external partners to build and grow the brand— evolving a cohesive visual brand, style, voice, and tone.

· Responsible for overseeing/ executing brand level photography for all projects related to product selling

Team

· Partner with internal teams to understand both marketing and creative objectives to provide creative solutions that accomplish business objectives

· Collaborate and guide members of the Creative team

 

Minimum Qualifications

· 5+ years’ experience as an Art Director at a retail organization, agency, or advertising agency

· Ideal candidate coming from a digitally native background with experience across video and photography

· Related fashion or activewear/leisurewear experience preferred

· Keen sense and aesthetic for visual design and creative

· Bachelor's degree

· Digital experience and knowledge of digital design for Web, Responsive, mobile and marketing channels

· Strong leadership and ability to provide direction

· Knowledge in UX design

· Experience in Mac OSX, Sketch, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote and Acrobat
