Position Objective

This position is responsible for working closely with theother members of the team and business owners in creating and executing testplans and scenarios to ensure the quality of software products and/or systems. Leads small and medium size testing projectsand is able to apply quality assurance skills in various systems andapplications, includingmarketing, ecommerce, customer service andclientelling. In addition, this positionis responsible for identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects; gatheringmetrics, and verifying defect fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner. Sr. QA Analyst participates in productdevelopment process for ensuring software runs smoothly and meeting thebusiness objective with agile / scrum methodology.


•Worksclosely with the product squad team to ensure the effectiveness andquality of the components and systems developed.

•Convertsrequirements to test strategies and test scenarios.

•Writes& executes test plans and scripts, documentation of test procedures andissues.

•Utilizesdefect management and test tracking tools for defect logging and creation ofreporting and statistics throughout the testing lifecycle.

•Worksthrough issues/defects & resolution in partnership with product squad

•Tests completion metrics & analysis, as wellas status read-outs to product squad

•Partnerswith cross-functional leads responsible for UAT - providing them with testschedules, test data, direction, and detailed test scripts in accordance withthe Enterprise Release Schedule.

  • Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in Computer Science or related field

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience in software quality assurance
  • Must have independently created complete test strategies, test scenarios, and defect reports
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk-based testing and experience in its implementation
  • Experience developing and coordinating testing efforts and project testing strategies
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies - ATG
  • Experience analyzing and dissecting system requirements to create and execute tests cases
  • Defect management and test tracking tools knowledge (experience in ALM, Jira, preferred)
  • Knowledge with software development processes; intermediate knowledge preferred.
  • Software quality assurance certifications preferred
  • Experience with automated testing tools a plus
  • Performance and Load testing experience a plus
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and react to situations as they arise in the appropriate manner
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment and effectively meet project deliverables on time
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable
  • Must be flexible and available to provide off-hours support
