The bar to join Miinto is high, we work hard, but we also take time to celebrate our successes, have fun and build relationships via frequent social activities. Miinto has recently expanded to China and in order to ensure our continued success, we are looking for an individual who lives and breathes the fashion e-commerce industry in China and its surrounding regions.

What you'll do

  • Be the main point of contact for all communications to/from counterparts in China
  • Be the internal go-to expert for all things related to Miinto’s business in China
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the technical teams and teams of cross-functional experts to ensure the smooth delivery of operational tasks to keep the business running according to defined goals
  • Own and manage operational processes, policies and strategies to ensure Miinto remains competitive in the market
  • Analyse data and implement improvements to operational and financial metrics. We are a data-driven company
  • Ensure that market-related action, risk and issue logs are updated, maintained and are being dealt with
  • Stay up to date on local industry, geo-political and business risks and opportunities 
  • Develop and implement data-backed strategies to capture emerging trends, address competitive threats, meet market needs and enhance business value
  • Provide weekly progress reports on activities, projections and actionable solutions
  • Present the management team with insights to refine our mid to long-term market strategy
  • Any other duties related to the market as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 year’s experience and proven success in growing and/or maintaining success in a large, international market
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Chinese fashion e-commerce industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage
  • Ability to shift between strategic discussions and operational detail
  • Understands the meaning and implications of financial and quantitative indicators
  • Self-starter, proactive and self-motivating ability to work on own initiative in a self-disciplined manner 
  • Ability to assimilate complexities of business requirements and prioritise work in a structured manner
  • Customer-focused
  • Tact and diplomacy balanced with assertiveness to handle stakeholders at all levels with conflicting priorities
  • Adaptability to work in an environment with a high degree of uncertainty and change
