JOB PURPOSE

The Finance Analyst will be a key contributor in the Finance Department, supporting FP&A team in P&L management, tracking business performance, assisting in building budgets and forecasts as well as performing trend analysis. This position will assist all analytics relating to Retail OPEX. The position interacts with (not limited to) leadership team, sales, operations and strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support all aspects of the budget and forecast for the Retail Store's Channel, including regular communication with business unit leaders to form forecast/budget assumptions, deep dive cost benefit / ROI analysis, applied analytics for accurate forecasting, and concise summary reporting for senior management.
  • Analyze expense versus budget and forecast on a monthly basis, identifying areas of risk and opportunity and presenting those findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Accounting monthly to ensure accuracy of P&L.
  • Assist in the upgrade of reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement and liaison with the various business departments.
  • Communicate financial results, projections, and action plans to management and cross functional team on a weekly basis.
  • Analyze store productivity by FTE and sales density and run scenarios, as needed. Partner with HR to review headcount requests on monthly basis.
  • Perform ROI analysis on pop ups and pop ins.
  • Assist with the preparation of Budget Presentation and presentations to Senior Leadership Team.
  • Perform various analytical ad hoc projects to help drive business strategy. #LI-RS1


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • 2-4 years of experience in Financial analysis or a comparable role. Accounting background an advantage.
  • Strong analytical background, with a good attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Works on own initiative; self-motivated; adaptable; able to work in fast-paced, changeable environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering change and driving improvements.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • BPC / SAP experience an advantage.
