As a Key Account Manager B2B Services (w/m/d) within Zalando Direct, you will act as a business owner and shape the foundation for our Zalando Business Services Network. The purpose of Zalando Business Services is to enable and secure the platform growth of partners via Third Party Service Providers. You will work closely together with multiple stakeholders across different business units, departments and teams to identify, certify, govern and manage service providers that are helping our partners to grow their business at Zalando.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Supporting the team management and stakeholders to build a strong network of service providers that help partners to ease the access to our platform and optimize their live-business.
  • Leverage your entrepreneurial drive to identify, target, educate, certify and consult service providers to embrace Zalando’s Platform strategy, adopt Zalando ́s Platform Services and leverage key technologies. Transfer your deep knowledge about industry and platform trends to enrich and drive Zalando’s platform initiatives.
  • Using your strong relationship-building skills your primary goal is to support our partners platform growth via service providers. You are monitoring and measuring the performance of their business with our partners through data driven analysis, education and consultation, focussing on promotional activities, platform services, onboarding processes as well as our product/tech offer that enables the partner success on the platform.
  • Cultivate existing partnerships with our third parties to make sure they can take full advantage of our growing suite of partner service offerings, while strengthening service providers' product knowledge of our platform.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Experienced in a marketplace environment and/or a consultant/business development background with a passion for the Fashion and e-commerce industry, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience.
  • A salesperson, analytically outstanding, you love working with figures yet taking a pragmatic approach to complex requirements and issues. On top of this you should have experience with process improvement and automation, a deep understanding of processes and product experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter, who will take ownership of projects and business problems to a successful result.
  • You're able to take initiative, use good judgment, understand deadlines and carry multiple projects through to completion even with much interruption. You're an authentic and mission-driven person who doesn't shy away from sparring with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills that can manage stakeholders effectively. You are fluent in English and if you speak another language that is an added advantage. You can present to various stakeholders effectively and have strong negotiation skills.
  • Adheres to concrete prioritizations.

  • The Zalando Business Services Team was founded to connect partners to the Zalando Platform supporting as well in their growth. The purpose of the team is to establish a stable data flow and a connection between three parties (Partner, Integrator and Zalando).
