As a Senior Market Insights Manager you will run analytical research to ultimately help the business of our partners around strategic, marketing and merchandising decision making. You will be responsible for representing the voice of our partners in our decision making, and will help build knowledge internally about the different key parties in our platform business model.

  • Use your market research expertise to design and execute survey projects to develop an in-depth understanding of our partners goals and challenges by region, and make sure this understanding translates into better products and services. Build a contextualized picture of the industry in each market/region;
  • Working together with analysts in the team, you will also have the chance to enrich your analysis with Zalando transactional and on-site data, in order to offer a holistic understanding of the context.
  • Create relevant insights, derive effective strategy and action recommendations, and transform these into clear and visually impactful reports. You will present these insights to various internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure effective planning and implementation of cross-departmental initiatives while scaling our research toolset.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in solving business problems, which could come from client-side consumer insights, consultancies, or other relevant roles. You also hold a strong academic qualification;
  • Strong experience in a range of analytical and research methods;
  • Strong communication and English skills, with the ability to build relevant stories and convey powerful messages. You have proven ability to visualize and explain complex analysis in a simple and appealing fashion;
  • Good understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and familiarity with B2B business;
  • Ability to efficiently deal with various stakeholders and senior management.
