Dover Street Market Paris (DSMP) is looking for an intern to join the Brand Development team starting December 2021 or January 2022.

DSMP Brand Development is an entity created in 2019 to nurture and develop creative talent and young designers. The intern will support the team with all wholesale and retail activities related to their assigned brands.

The duration of the internship is 6 months and tasks include:

  • Assist in the organization and management of the showroom sales campaigns in January, March and June:
    • Prospect and reach out to new potential retail partners
    • Monitor appointment scheduling of existing clients
    • Support the setup of the physical and digital showrooms
  • Assist clients with their orders during and after the showroom using JOOR
  • Execute the administrative follow up of the orders and monitor deliveries and invoicing following the showroom periods with our operations team
  • Manage and update client information in our CRM
  • Collect sales information and report on sales performance throughout the distribution network (budgets, client feedback, sell-through)
  • Coordinate and support online and offline marketing initiatives with Dover Street Market stores and other retail partners
  • Coordinate and support brand partnerships with third parties to develop collaborative products

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in French and English - All other languages are a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset
  • At ease with Microsoft Office, excellent knowledge of Excel required
  • Very organized and able to prioritize and work to deadlines
  • Independent, confident, pro-active, and solution-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
  • Dynamic, team-player and interested in working in a multi-cultural, international environment within the fashion industry
  • Interested in the world of Comme des Garçons & Dover Street Market


Rei Kawakubo started manufacturing and selling women's wear under the name of Comme des Garçons in 1969. In 1973 the company was established under the same name. Menswear was introduced in 1978. The first show was held in Tokyo in 1975, and a subsidiary was established in Paris in 1981 with international development in mind. Rei Kawakubo remains at the helm of Comme des Garçons and continues to oversee all creative and business aspects of the company
