Junior Gerber Digitiser / Gerber Pattern cutter

Assistant Role with a minimum 2 years experience 

We have an opening for a motivated, dedicated and interested in learning candidate for a 

versatile junior role, in a busy and fast pace environment.

 

Your duties will be: 

-Assisting the Gerber Pattern Manager 

-Digitising of paper patterns

-Tidying up patterns after the digitising or after converted/imported files from other systems

-Plotting

-Checking all the printed patterns before passing them to the Product Development Managers

-Checking of pattern packs 

-Recording the Pattern stage / size in the shared Pattern Library

-Retrieving and taking patterns to the Archive

-Checking and altering patterns, occasionally do costings of fabric consumption, measuring patterns, finning out of measurement charts 

-Checking all cutting info on the patterns and comparing with the garment and tech-sheet/packs

-Help checking the final production approval package before sending to Grading

-Generating the pieces list for every style

-Occasionally making markers 

-Preparing the embroidery pattern packages and converting them for the embroidery team and the embroidery factory

 

MUST HAVE:

- 2/3 years experience preferably as pattern cutter or assistant and at least 1 year-1.5 pattern cutter

- Gerber experience of 1-2 years is required

-Full understand of garment making process and construction 

-Understanding fabric properties 

-Must be highly organised

-Focused and positive 

-Willing to learn and help the other team members when necessary

-A "will do" attitude

-Friendly and communicative - team player

-Fluent in English (Turkish an advantage but not necessary)
