OPERATIONS

The Operations team is the engine that manages the delivery process and provides daily support to achieving our goals. The Operations team consists of Intake and Returns, Shipping, and Fulfillment. We partner with our Tech and IT teams to ensure that business flow processes are not interrupted in our efforts to achieve our goals.

THE ROLE

The Director of Inventory Operations will be responsible leading the teams on all areas of inventory control, asset protection, and catalog operations. This will include managing all inventory related cycle/physical counts, reconciliation, investigations, corrective action plans, consignment payout approvals, all related financial, KPI and other reporting. You will also oversee out catalog operations getting products live on all platforms and operationally supporting our photography/creative teams. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Consignment/Inventory Operations and will work with the Commercial, Creative/Photography, Inventory Planning and Retail teams. achieve Service level agreement requirements that ensure outstanding customer service levels. This role requires an obsession for detail, financial knowledge and passion for process improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You will emphasis on leading initiatives to maintain the highest levels of stock accuracy, control processes, and reporting standards.
    • Investigating all inventory losses (including criminal), approving consignor payouts and all related corrective action plans.
    • Responsible for the management of compliance and standards operation including inventory assignment and ownership, working deliverables, throughput levels, and SOX standards.
    • Drive SOX compliance and SOP standards through reporting, communication and continuous training
    • Responsible for the maintenance and change management implementation for all consignment and inventory operational processes
    • Own all compliance requirements for inventory operations by providing standardized expectations to all facilities in the Stadium Goods supply chain and cooperatively enforcing accountability around inventory & quality control.
    • Partner as a strategic advisor to Commercial and Planning teams by supporting their mission to retain and grow client businesses.
    • Manage all aspects of our catalog management and getting products live on all platforms.
    • Partner with our photography team on supporting and structuring all operational processes.
    • Created a corporate communication standard for inventory related concerns to elevate Consignor Experience
    • Developed strategic planning & execution of Physical Inventories both internally and with 3PL partners
    • Partner with consignment operations to reduce intake errors and ensure authenticity
    • Participate in inter-departmental meetings partnering with Operational department heads in Consignment to build synergies fostering communication, cooperation and teamwork
    • Plan and manage distribution of work on the Operations Intake teams to meet business objectives
    • Implement strategies that commit to providing a positive, safe work experience for our employees
    • Report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs by team member, department, and location so that managing directors can coach employees where necessary
    • Research, develop and implement process improvements to our intake process and supply chain by seeking out areas of inefficiencies in both internal and external-facing processes
    • Applying the continuous improvement mindset to your workload


WHO YOU ARE

    • You have BA or equivalent experience preferably in a related area (Inventory, Accounting or Operations)
    • You can read and create instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals
    • You enjoy communicating with team members across different levels
    • You have three years in a leadership role
    • You can manage multi-site (including a large warehouse and retail locations) cycle counts and physical inventories with experience researching variances, reconciling, and corrective action plan.
    • You understand the importance of customer excellence
    • You are comfortable executing decisions and managing multiple processes
