The Department & Team

The Omnichannel Development, Finance & Business Operations department formalizes the omnichannel strategy, drives the development of associated business processes & consumer services as well as leading their operational implementation. The department is also in charge of evaluating the business and financial performance of the omnichannel business.

Within the department, the Omnichannel Product development team drives the design, developments, improvements and maintenance of all omnichannel and retail products (consumers and employees services and tooling). The team identifies and scopes new initiatives & features to offer both an improved consumer experience and an always more efficient operating model.

Partnering with the Tech Department, this team prioritizes the initiatives & features to be worked on and steers the development teams to ensure the maximum value is delivered to the business. Working closely with the Expansion team, the Product team ensures features are technically ready and business relevant to be operational implemented and rolled out in the markets.your role

The team drives complex and innovative initiatives and products, which sits across multiple departments and technologies. The team is composed of Product Managers, Product Owners and Product Specialists, leading business and technical team members working under agile/scrum methodology. The team environment is dynamic, open and value oriented.

The Position

As a Senior Product Owner for the "Omnichannel Planning" product team, you are responsible for managing the assortment planning tool that has just been selected for PVH's D2C environment (Retail, Outlet, Ecom). Your role is to collaborate with a newly formed multidisciplinary product team, using scrum and agile methodologies, in order to successfully inplement and embed the planning tool within the organization.

Your focus is on analyzing together with your product team how to best drive the implementation, and prioritizing work for your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the product owner for D2C assortment planning solution (systems, processes, etc.), for both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. Implement the selected vendor solution and continuously improve them over time
  
• Be responsible for product management including defining, scoping, planning, design, development, rollout and support of the planning solution
  
  • Defining: work with the project manager + Merchandising & Planning stakeholders across the departments to define project/product objectives, understand user needs, etc
    
  • Scoping: together with the product team, assess business & technical effort to realize the project, uncover dependencies, establish timelines
    
  • Planning: Decide preferred project methodology, write user stories and refine with scrum teams, plan user-testing sessions, etc
    
  • Design: together with development team and stakeholders, design processes and validate with end-users, to get project into development ready state, etc
    
  • Development: iterate to build MVP product, lead UAT across-countries, prepare implementation strategy, etc
    
  • Rollout: work with Expansion project manager to deploy the solution to the stores, produce product documentation, etc
    
  • Support: oversee eventual hypercare, maintain content update, assist in L3 issues resolution, collect user feedback and plan future product iterations, etc
    
• Lead multidisciplinary scrum teams (incl. design, development, QA) and together drive the completion of backlog (projects, epics and stories)
  
• Co-lead the agile ceremonies (demo, planning, grooming, retro, etc.) together with the Scrum Master and Business Analyst
  
• Make sure that the solutions integrate seamlessly within our ecosystem and always look for potential technical improvements
  
• Work closely with business stakeholders (retail, e-com, IT, etc.) and local country offices to ensure that projects are smoothly implemented and embedded within the organization
  
• Build up a strong internal network to drive strategic projects.
  
• Be the main point of contact for the vendor regarding product development and manage relationships accordingly
  
• Regularly report overall program status and continuously manage backlog. Anticipate and communicate risks to key stakeholders in IT, different business functions and external vendors.
  

The Ideal Candidate:

• University/Engineering degree with 4-7 years of related work experience.
  
• Proven track-record of managing multidisciplinary Product teams (consisting of Developers, Tech lead, QA)
  
• Extensive experience designing/building Merchandising & Planning platforms including WSSI (Weekly Sales, Stock and Intake Data)
  
• Strong knowledge/previous experience of the role of a Planner and how WSSI fits in with wider business processes
  
• Strong understanding of feasible workload/capacity of teams expected to use the WSSI
  
• Appetite for technology and process-oriented mindset
