The Team

The Calvin Klein store design and concept team EMEA+ is a creative hub within the PVH Omnichannel organization. This department oversees the concept design for full price, shop-in-shop and outlet stores throughout the EMEA+ region.The team works in parallel with the visual merchandising, store development, supply chain and project management teams to development and execute the design of Calvi

n Klein stores throughout the EMEA+ region. The team environment is collaborative, inclusive, dynamic, innovative, resourceful, open and respectful.

The Position

The Senior Concept Specialist reports to the Director for Store Design and Concept and will work with other team members to realize store designs throughout the EMEA+ region. Main responsibilities will include the overseeing of the store design and the development of the concept into workable solutions that can be executed in a variety of markets. The Senior Concept Specialist will work with internal departments and external consultants to realize the best possible design solutions and execution of designs to the highest standards. The position requires a balance between creative, technical and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Work proactively and collaboratively within the Concept team to execute store designs for Calvin Klein in the EMEA+ region
  
• Work closely with the Director of Store Design and the Concept Manager on developing concepts, creating guidelines and creating design standards to ensure optimum store roll out procedures for full price, shop-in-shop and outlet stores
  
• Work with an external agency to create store layouts according the latest Calvin Klein store concept and the provided site conditions
  
• Support internal teams on concepts and design reviews
  
• Work as part of the Concept team to review and approve designs for stores, shop-in-shop and outlet projects (around 60 stores and 300 SIS projects average per year)
  
• Find solutions for design and technical issues due to site requirements
  
• Assist the Project Management team with design queries and solutions
  
• Effectively communicate concept strategy to the markets and relevant stakeholders internally/externally
  
• Develop fixtures from concept design to prototyping and create the relevant documentation to incorporate into design packages, catalogues and guidelines
  
• Overseeing compilation and approval of fixture catalogues, vendor installation manuals and standard fixture configurations
  
• Define production/depletion strategy for fixtures and opening pack items considering demand and stock levels
  
• Value engineering and final approval of manufacturing drawings and prototypes
  
• Provide production strategy based on VM needs and requirements
  

The Ideal Candidate

• A good balance between creative, technical and analytical thinking. The ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize tasks
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial
  
• In depth knowledge of retail design, experience design and the retail environment
  
• University degree in Interior Design or Architecture or related qualification
  
• Minimum five to seven years' design experience with a working experience at an international design agency or in a brand environment
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneous requiring efficient communication, organization, time management, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  
• Results oriented person with a strong focus on high quality delivery
  
• Can work independently and collaboratively with multinational teams
  
• Positive, enthusiastic and proactive personality to be able to handle various stakeholders across the organization and communicate successfully with stakeholders across levels and cultures
  
• Experience design and visual merchandising experience is a big plus
  
• Good understanding of different store types and tiering principles
  
• Strong Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop and related software skills
