Job Title: Associate Planner

Primary Purpose: The Associate Planner is an enthusiastic and analytical individual who is a key driver of the SW businesses across regions. This person has a strong analytical background and enjoys applying creative thinking and problem solving to help optimize the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own sku level open-to-buy and reforecast sales, inventory and margin on a monthly basis
- Manage reorders for carryover styles and project out needs for future seasons
- Make markdown and promotion recommendations by analyzing inventory ownership
- Run weekly reporting, analyze location selling, and track future receipts
- Create and execute allocation strategies with an understanding of sales trend, store capacity, and stock to sales ratio
- Optimize inventory across stores and Ecommerce and between Retail & Outlet to maximize sales and turn
- Propose store tiers based on selling analysis
- Work with store teams to plan out capacity on a monthly basis
- Hindsight seasonal store and inventory performance
- Partner with buyers during market to plan out future seasons' sales and inventory
- Manage size curves and make seasonal recommendations for buying partners

Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and comfortable partnering with many different teams
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Detailed oriented and highly organized
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in buying/planning/inventory management or financial forecasting
- Retail allocation experience in an omnichannel environment
- Experience in a sized category is a plus
