About the Role

The Cobrand Marketing team manages all marketing and internal operations for the Gap Inc. credit card. This team specifically focuses on driving credit card spend outside of the Gap, Inc. brand portfolio, enticing customers to use their credit card at all merchants. From card benefit innovation to direct marketing campaigns, this team is the touchpoint that has direct access to Gap Inc. cardmembers.

What You'll Do

  • Own performance of out of brand card business to ensure KPIs and P&L targets are achieved.
  • Partner with issuing bank to design and implement retention strategy through comprehensive marketing plan to achieve financial goals and long-range plans.
  • Innovate and evolve program strategy, building roadmap and testing agenda to maximize ROI, drive sales, manage discount expense and refine future retention strategies.
  • Optimize complex, targeted customer segmentation, offer mix and channel approach across direct mail, email, and digital.
  • Own sales budget and oversee monthly forecast leveraging portfolio trends, economic insights, and industry impacts.
  • Responsible for expense budget, allocating funds to optimize sales and retention.
  • Lead and develop high performing team to be customer curious, create with audacity, results-oriented and accountable.


Who You Are

  • Organized, self-starter, strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships with business partners; positive attitude and ability to manage change and brings structure to ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment while showing strong attention to detail and delivering flawlessly & accurately on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to think big picture, stay hyper-focused on the customer, and be a visionary/idea generator, with willingness to be involved in execution details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to glean insights, visualize data, tell a story, and influence strategic direction across the business.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while also maintaining oversight of direct reports
  • Past credit card, retail, or agency experience preferred but not require.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, loyalty, ecommerce or related field, focused on driving the development, execution, and analysis of omni-channel marketing programs. Bachelor's Degree; MBA a plus
