We are looking for Visual Merchandising (VM) Assistant to join the Visual & Creative team.

You'll be an organised creative, with innovative ideas and ability to work at pace.

This role reports into the Head of Visual. Your time will be split between head office and the store network, with a focus on Greater London.

The role requires creation and installation of directional windows, styling and strong visual merchandising stories that reflects the current collection and brand image. Co-ordinating with the strategies of the business to deliver creative and commercial solutions.

The Role

  • Responsible for the execution of store windows, styling and VM campaigns.
  • Dress and change all mannequins and windows on a fortnightly basis in line with the visual directive
  • Creating new clothing packages, stories when the stock arrives into store inline with the visual directive 
  • Set up of events - customer events, press days and store openings
  • Supporting stores with their understanding of the seasonal collections and supporting with any visual issues they may have.
  • Updating signage, graphics, canvases and imagery in store
  • Build successful relationships with the store teams and Area managers - clarifying needs and opportunities to support. 
  • Actively researching and compiling competitor analysis within the sector 
  • Reviewing store teams photos and providing feedback on VM execution, via calls, video and email. Supporting with changes and actions.
  • Assessing store environments and fixture layouts. Organising improvements and updates to upgrade the store experience.
  • Use Sharepoint to upload imagery and create the visual directives, supporting all team members by sharing ideas and best practise

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills 
  • Knowledge of competition and industry trends 
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise. 
  • Works well under pressure in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to performing to tight deadlines with suppliers, deliveries, and installations of the windows. 
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill both in person and by phone, with high professionalism 
  • Strong decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility 
  • A problem solver
  • Versatile and agile to changing needs of the team, flexible with working hours to ensure that project is completed in time 
  • A brand ambassador with a real passion for the Jigsaw brand.

 Key Skills and Experience Required 

  • GCSE Maths and English(or equivalent)
  • 5+ years previous experience within a similar role
  • Qualifications in creative fields ideally Visual/ Art /Interiors or Fashion
