Stock Analysis in Farfetch is highly reliant on selecting, capturing, processing and acting on the right data at the earliest stage possible in the season. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Logistics Planning, the Senior Inventory Analyst will join the team of Stock Analytics:

Enable full stock visibility within Farfetch, and their 1P partners. Work together with Commercial Data Science Teams to support our partners on Assortment Planning, Stock Planning, Open To Buy and Manufacturing decisions. Create robust analytics that help our teams to make better decisions. Plan for WH long term occupation and liaise with FxFF teams to optimize Cost of Storage.


    • Develop and maintain the data streams needed to update the planning tool, ensuring our analytics fits the needs of our direct FF partners;
    • Build and maintain partnerships with all levels of the organization:
    • With the Data Science team on predictive models to feed the expected behavior of our stock throughout the season and to support direct FF partners on allocation decisions that maximize availability and minimize obsolescence
    • With the Catalogue Management team and commercial teams, transforming demand signals into actionable decisions;
    • With direct FF partners in increasing our scope and improving operational processes;
    • Help design and implement operational processes to increase automation, remove friction and optimize inventory allocations;
    • Manage and continually improve inventory optimization using advanced analytics and visualization tools to optimize for increased sales, reduced costs and an outstanding customer experience;
    • Advocate for change management in the inventory management space;


    • BA or BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or another technical field;
    • A senior professional with +5 years' experience with at least 2 years' experience in data analytics in a supply chain or inventory management related area;
    • Experience in Fashion is very important for this role;
    • Experience with stock analytics and planning software is a bonus;
    • Process oriented with strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify solutions to problems and opportunities by analyzing data;
    • Results driven with a commercial mindset;
    • Excel at dealing with different seniority levels;
    • Able to work in a fast moving operational environment;
    • Fluent English.
