The Team

As part of the PVH Europe Omnichannel team the position will in partnership with the Omni channel team and markets develop and execute a holistic Pan-European online pure players strategy. The intention of the position is always in full alignment with and in close partnership with the markets to optimize consumer engagement, strengthen brand equity, control and manage 3rd party Ecommerce expansion, drive the strategic growth plan in full alignment with the holistic PVH Europe Direct-To-Consumer strategy.

Focus areas within such strategic growth plan will among others include:
  • segmentation strategy
  • drive a sustainable, above market and profitable growth with international online accounts
  • connect commerce/platform in partnership with the team in O&O.com/hubs sales and margin objectives.

The Position

The operation is structured within our matrix organization where the strategic ownership of the 3rd party Ecommerce accounts remains with the market.

In partnership with the local Ecommerce commercial structure (markets) the function holds a shared responsibility of what, where, how and who to sell to (digital sales & online marketing) - always aligned with the commercial country sales strategies.

The mutual objective of 3rd Party Ecommerce EMEA is to create a PAN European Platform Management with clearly defined, unique set of rules on:
  • How to play / partnership rules; incl. assortment definitions, 3rdparty offer and brand representations
  • Where & with who (e.g.. tale cut, new partner acceptance & tiring)
  • Supervise that partners respect contractual obligation and follow agreed rules & guidelines (SEA, Ecommerce appearance ..)

You are the go to person for Central Ecommerce O&O and Partner Program Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement best practice, make business models transparent, create distribution transparency and anchor the best distribution options for PVH within EMEA
  • Insurance that the pure player strategy is an integrated part of the broader Omnichannel strategy within the markets and for PVH Europe
  • Segment the EMEA partners and secure brand/commercial actions accordingly (including tail end and non-brand right account clean up)
  • Create solutions and structures to support pure players in areas such as content supply and management, master data creation, support on brand site creation, general strategic partnership growth support. Such structures do not necessarily need to be centrally based but can be guided by "hubs of expertise" placed in the countries
  • With the Omni merchandising management structure create a clear assortment strategy moving focus from price activation towards product exclusivity, content management and allow for growth while the brand equity is protected/managed
  • Suggest measures to improve performance marketing, implement brand stores across key partners, and secure a premium brand presentation and communication - covering pure players/platforms as well as Brick and Click partners. Implement accordingly
  • Establish a reporting structure which secures transparency on partners across markets, analyze market shares and development. Establish priorities and actions accordingly
  • Follow up and act on already existing analytics - among others the "price intelligence tool".

The priority of the position will initially be to:
  • Create a structure which is centrally coordinated that services the pure players across all countries. Such services being content support, strategic account development, creation of brand landing pages, master data support
  • Create transparency of the Ecommerce distribution structure in Europe. Secure actions which aligns with the distribution strategy across EMEA.
  • Create best practices across EMEA and secure structures are optimized rather than duplicated for each HUB

Considerably travel activity is expected across the European continent to secure a close link between the head office and local market initiatives.

P&L and final business decisions remain the responsibility of the commercial country sales organizations. However the position has the mandate to secure a brand right European distribution, price and assortment strategy and is requested to escalate misalignment between European brand strategy and country commercial strategy to the European management team (MD team).
