The Team

Calvin Klein Display & Windows Team belongs to the PVH Omnichannel Department and is part of the EMEA headquarter of Calvin Klein. The team is responsible for creating and shaping the appearance of CALVIN KLEIN in all offline points of sales in the EMEA region. This includes concept development/adaptation for all aspects of the window, display and visual merchandising and overseeing the execution of these concepts by delivering general and seasonal guidelines to all stakeholders, such as procurement, expansion and local VM teams.

The Position

Display & Windows team oversees three areas for our CK Windows: Campaign, Creative, Consumer Messaging. The senior specialist will work on the elevation of the concepts and management of the design, production and rollout of the Full Price and Outlet projects, considering all Retail Own & Operated, Franchise and Wholesale channels. This is achieved in close collaboration with the Calvin Klein divisions, marketing, retail buying, merchandising, store design teams.

At the same time, the Senior specialist has to build and maintain close collaboration and contact with other team members: two window specialists, one planning specialist and a team manager.

Projects assigned are multi-disciplinary with a range of responsibilities between campaign, creative, consumer messaging, always within the area of CK windows & display in the EMEA market, with a strong focus on project management. The role requires the involvement and alignment between various stakeholders within the business prior to each season.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of seasonal windows & in-store campaign and creative projects across all channels.
  • Management of special KCP windows & in-store campaign and creative related projects, such as capsules.
  • Operate the process efficiently as possible, through effective collaboration with multiple suppliers, contractors and agencies, including freelancers.
  • Development of a seasonal channel-specific rollout strategy and establishment of a seasonal calendar that best reflects divisional product drops, buying and merchandising as well as relevant capsules whilst operating the budget efficiently and owning timelines to ensure projects are delivered according to globally defined launch dates.
  • Align with all direct team members and markets on scheduling and launches.
  • Define the available assets for the EMEA market in communication with other business stakeholders, such as marketing, retail merchandising, local buying teams, etc.
  • Create and communicate the seasonal plan in collaboration with the supplier including all relevant information in order to ensure that timelines and launch dates are met.
  • Create and approve all assets according to brand guidelines.
  • Communicate and define accurate and market-specific rules and exceptions with suppliers in line with presented global guidelines.
  • Artwork signoff and approval prior to production launchacross all channels and divisions.
  • Active collaboration with production in order to ensure coherency across all linked projects.
  • Budget ownership and facilitation, as well as optimization and execution of country and franchise recharge processes.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is in place on the digital database on time, in order to turn around concepts in a swift and accurate mannerby planning data clean-up and order phases with the supplier and markets.
  • Oversee any new projects in terms of re-orders and special requests.
  • Oversee digital video assets implementation on selected locations in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Provide clear information and content for the creation of accurate monthly guidelinesand communication updates, in close collaboration with the Communications Team.
  • Collaborate with the team manager and supplier on continuously improving the digital database.
  • Monitor and guide the local production process between local markets (where applicable).
  • Market support in flagships during creative and campaign installations or new store openings in order to ensure that guidelines are followed correctly and that the Calvin Klein brand identity is kept.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 4-5 years experience within a similar field, preferably in a fashion retail environment, working with image and video assets is an advantage
  • Work experience in similar sized corporate environments, within the premium and high-end fashion segment, is a plus
  • Strong fashion affinity and knowledge/awareness of the retail industry trends
  • Strong creative flair and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and bring them to realization
  • Ability to manage and multi-task between projects and workstreams
  • Ability to work under short timelines
  • Ability to be self-reliant and comfortable with decision-making
  • Ability to combine creative thinking with strategic execution
  • University degree in Design, Retail/Fashion Business Administration or Marketing
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken)
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Knowledge of content and project management tools
  • Knowledge of digital VM programs
