Where the Womenswear Junior pattern cutter sits:
You'll be responsible for supporting the design team to develop products within an end-to-end development process - concept to production - supporting patterns for new blocks and seasonal styles. This role is an exciting opportunity to develop a large skill set. We are looking for a highly creative Junior Pattern cutter to work across womenswear multi-product. Your focus will be on high quality products with perfect fit.


Roles & Responsibilities:
● Working closely with the design team and head pattern cutter to create patterns and prototypes and have creative input as and when required.
● Work closely with the product team to ensure all technical and design elements are followed through to production.
● Work closely with the head pattern cutter on new developments and amendments using digital software and manual patterns.
● Use Excel to create technical specification sheets and workbooks when required
● Record fit/pattern amends throughout the sealing procedure
● Liaise with factories and design to update comments, manual patterns and electronic files.
● Make minor pattern amendments for final design approval using the gerber CAD system or manually.
● Produce detailed technical specification sheets for each style which will support the quality control team.
● Responsible for ensuring each style has a smooth run to production with minimal fit issues/delays along with the design team.
● Ensure the digital and manual pattern library is kept up to date.


Skills & Experience:
● At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
● Ideally, you will have some knowledge of gerber or other digital pattern system
● Excellent knowledge of Excel & graded size charts
● Ability to interpret Designers drawings
● Strong attention to detail
● Naturally confident with strong communication skills - both written and verbally.
● Highly organised with strong time management skills.
● Independent but enjoy working in a team and have a flexible approach to working.
● Fluent in spoken and written English
