The ideal candidate will possess the proven knowledge to execute sales strategy, with a keen ability to drive sales and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking, be a self starter and have the ability to effectively prioritize and work in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a successful partnership with accounts/buyers
  • Maintain current business and consistently grow new business in targeted markets, by partnering with accounts to develop strong assortments
  • Implement business plan by account to achieve corporate sales goals
  • Receive weekly sales/stock information from accounts and perform weekly analysis of by style in door selling
  • Maintain order changes, substitutions, confirmations and shipping status/order tracking for accounts
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge
  • Facilitate market set up (samples, showroom models)
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the territory
  • Weekly department store visits to implement merchandising and inventory standards 

Qualifications

  • 2-3 successful years of proven showroom sales success as a Sales Assistant or Account Executive for a contemporary brand with exceptional wholesale relationships and the ability to relate to the Iro customer
  • Wholesale Men’s experience a plus
  • Utilize confident communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of retail math and sales planning
  • Self motivation with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and priorities in an organized manner
  • Technical skill proficiency using MS Office software applications and Joor
