Shopify's Early Talent teams attract, hire, and develop a diverse community of emerging talent by designing and delivering innovative work integrated learning programs to accelerate participants' long-term career impact. We're seeking a growth marketer with Higher Education experience to dramatically increase awareness of our programs across North America, expanding globally.

You will work with a team to build and execute strategic social, marketing, and branding campaigns, as well as events, sponsorships, and partnerships that you'll source in collaboration with our Talent Attraction and Employer Branding teams. We're looking for someone with deep knowledge and experience in engaging with early talent communities to achieve results. You'll lead our efforts to forge strategic partnerships with nonprofit and governmental organizations, as well as HBCUs and HSIs, to help recruit a diverse pipeline of applicants. And you'll lead our efforts to establish Shopify and our partners as thought leaders in our space.

To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, being goal-oriented, thinking critically, managing multiple projects, and building relationships. You work well under pressure with a high level of ambiguity, understand what motivates students, new grads, and career switchers, and can both set and deliver on hard deadlines while simultaneously thriving in a changing environment. You are organized, detail-oriented, and are comfortable pushing the status quo.

If you get energy from building relationships, delivering high-impact events, and supporting communities, join our team!

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on deadlines to ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Proven experience in building strong relationships with audiences and stakeholders at multiple levels in a company setting
  • A keen eye for what needs to get done operationally and a desire to get it done efficiently
  • The ability to thrive in an environment where experimentation is encouraged and you are confident in creating, executing and championing those experiments.
